Ibotta’s 2024 interns are bringing innovation for more cash back for you

Ibotta is constantly looking to improve our best-in-class cash back app and the Ibotta Performance Network to better serve our Savers and our clients and partners. One of the ways we look to the future is by engaging young talent. Every year, Ibotta brings 18 to 20 interns to our Denver office to help us innovate on new ideas to bring our users more cash back.

How our interns help us “Make Every Purchase Rewarding”

Ibotta interns aren't just fetching coffee or filing paperwork. They’re working on projects that have a direct impact on the company and our millions of users. Our interns think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and come up with creative solutions to complex problems. 

Results from our internship program

At Ibotta we believe that “A good idea can come from anywhere.” That’s why we have each of our interns complete a capstone project during their 12-week program. 

In addition to behind-the-scenes updates to our app, innovations from prior internships have included:

• Improving the website user experience

• Designing a better onboarding experiences for new users

• Updating our earnings page and launching the Ibotta clubs experience

• Testing Spanish content in our app

These projects have translated to real results and helped us reach more people, improve our product, and extend our ability to give cash back to Americans everywhere.

Whether you're interested in engineering, marketing, data science, or any other aspect of the business, Ibotta's internship program is designed to help you grow and succeed. You’ll get training from our Learning and Development team, meaningful work experience, and a dedicated mentor.

This year we did expert panels with subject matter experts on topics like effective collaboration, how to appeal to recruiters, and advocating for yourself. We also did a senior leadership team panel to give our interns a unique opportunity to connect with our C-suite level leaders.
